Characteristics: Rounded, evergreen perennial shrub with ovate, dark green leaves and nodding flowers of red and yellow from late Winter into Spring.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.2 – 0.6m.
Period of Interest: Spring and Summer interest. Masses of pendulous, tube-shaped, bright red and yellow flowers from late Winter through to the Spring. Foliage evergreen in mild regions or under glass.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Tender evergreen that will act as short-term perennial in colder regions. Frost protection is necessary if kept outside. Conservatory or greenhouse planting is recommended.
